J. S. Bach's Invention 9

The notations are described elsewhere.

All of the non-traditional scales are created using a single template file. A script make-invention-09 is run to create the files. The entire directory is available for viewing. The non-traditional notations use a 4-octave continuous staff.

There is one common data file bach-invention-09-common.ly which is included in both the template file and the traditional notation file.

This example is J. S. Bach's Invention 9, from the Mutopia project. I made a few changes to the original file to produce the output, so that the chromatic staffs were used. For the most part, the note section is the same. However, the lower staff in the original switches between bass and treble, which was modified in the chromatic version. Otherwise, the notes are the same in both examples. The chromatic version is slightly awkward.
